AARP’S 2008 BEST EMPLOYERS GALA
AARP’s Best Employers Gala celebrates organizations with leading practices for recruiting, retaining and supporting workers age 50 and over. The event brings together employers and advocates for an elevated evening that recognizes impact and reinforces the value of a truly multigenerational workforce.
The branding for this high-end awards gala carried a subtle interpretation of the “Linking the Generations” theme. The event mark visually “links” generations through connected letterforms, suggesting continuity, mentorship and shared progress.
The invitation extended the concept as a tactile reveal—it shipped flat inside the envelope, then opened into three interlocking cubes representing past, present and future generations linked as one. That motif was carried through to the onsite graphics and stage set. A standing cube dinner menu echoed the invitation structure—as a fun surprise moment that guests discovered at their place setting, reinforcing the theme through both form and experience.
