2019 LURIE PRIZE

The Lurie Prize Award Ceremony brings together some of the foremost leaders in the field of biomedical sciences to recognize outstanding achievement by a promising scientist aged 52 or younger.

The goal of the event’s branding is for it to rise to the level and the prestige of the event itself. Every year, the attendees look forward to the “WOW!”

In 2019, Dr. Yasmine Belkaid was recognized for her achievement in the study of microbes and their role in the immune response of our gut and skin.

The invitation’s peekaboo laser cut cover reveals Dr. Belkaid’s work. The space agey image is actually a rendering of adipose tissue (or fat) in the gut. Holographic purple foil stamping throughout the invitation suite adds that modern upscale element.
