ARCHITECTURAL FOLLY

The project began with a cube composed of 2-inch modules, which was transformed by selectively removing volumes and grafting them back onto the form in new configurations.

This iterative process was documented through foam core and mat board study models, sketches, and the strategic addition of planes.

The model evolved into a custom-designed architectural folly. Once the formal language was established, hand-drawn and BIM floor plans, elevations, and sections were developed to explore the structure as a habitable space.

The folly was articulated with a digital painting applied to clear plexiglass glazing, introducing color and light as key design elements. The structure ultimately became a gallery concept featuring an open floor plan and a catwalk “salon” for viewing artwork, with the roof reimagined as a gathering space for gallery events.
