HOUSE MODEL
For this project, I started with a set of construction documents for a one-story home and rebuilt the plan in AutoCAD. Once the 2D drawings were complete, I imported the file into SketchUp and Revit to develop a fully articulated 3D model and explore the house volumetrically.
For the final presentation, we were asked to define a clear “big idea” for the home and design a poster in InDesign that communicated both the concept and the model. Because of the small footprint and limited square footage, I chose to unify the project through a custom digital painting applied as an accent motif on the façade and carried into the interior, with one expression in each room:
– Living room: throw pillows
– Kitchen: island countertop
– Bathroom: glass shower enclosure
– Bedroom: artwork above the bed
